Greenhouse labourer

The Flowerhouse Market Ltd. is situated in Chilliwack, BC and is hiring a Greenhouse labourer to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must harvest seedlings.
• The candidate must perform seed cutting.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must mix and prepare soils.
• The candidate must plant bulbs and seeds.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must report signs of insect or disease damage.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
