Greenhouse labourer

Boem Berry Farms in Kingsville, ON is seeking a self-motivated Greenhouse labourer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours. LMIA approved position.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must report signs of insect or disease damage.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
