Now hiring: Granite setter at PERFECT GRANITE AND QUARTZ LTD. in Calgary, AB. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
• The candidate must mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
• The candidate must set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
• The candidate must align and straighten tiles.
• The candidate must pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
• The candidate must remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
• The candidate must build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
• The candidate must cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
