Grader operator

SK trucking Ltd ( Slave Lake, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Grader operator. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Day, Night, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must understand the purpose and proper use of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs to equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have their own transportation.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
