Job Description

The candidate must determine type of glass, frames, and materials required.
The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
The candidate must measure, mark, and cut glass.
The candidate must position and secure panes in frames.
The candidate must assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products.
The candidate must install door, window, and other hardware.
The candidate must repair glass doors and other glass structures.
The candidate must assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
The candidate must work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
