MUSTANG GLASS & DOOR SERVICES INC. ( Brampton, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Glass installer-glazier. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must determine type of glass, frames, and materials required.
• The candidate must measure, mark, and cut glass.
• The candidate must position and secure panes in frames.
• The candidate must assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products.
• The candidate must install door, window, and other hardware.
• The candidate must repair glass doors and other glass structures.
• The candidate must assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
• The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
• The candidate must work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
• The candidate must work in a commercial setting that fosters a workforce of highly competent, respectful, mature, and accountable employees working toward a common goal.
• The candidate should work in the industrial area with facilities such as factories, plants, processing operations, and similar operations.
• The candidate must work in the installation process to set up large-scale, mixed-media constructions, often designed for a specific location or time period.
