General labourer - manufacturing

Dura in Mont-Royal, QC is inviting applications for the position of General labourer - manufacturing. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Required shifts: Overtime required, Morning, Evening, Shift, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
• The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
• The candidate must check and weigh materials and products.
• The candidate must sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
• The candidate must assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
• The candidate must perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must set up, operate, and tend machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, molding, and curing rubber materials or products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
