General labourer - manufacturing

JOB CONNECTION GROUP INC. in Mississauga, ON is inviting applications for the position of General labourer - manufacturing. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Casual employment - Part time leading to full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
• The candidate must check and weigh materials and products.
• The candidate must sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
• The candidate must assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
• The candidate must perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in clothing or textile manufacturing to produce garments or fabric products while maintaining quality standards.
• The candidate must work in a printing shop to operate printing equipment, produce high-quality printed materials, and manage daily production processes efficiently.
• The candidate must work in automotive manufacturing to assemble vehicles or components while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• The candidate should work in a manufacturing and industrial plant operating a large factory to produce goods efficiently and reliably.
• The candidate must work in a factory or plant.
