Cebulak Family Farms is situated in Windham Centre, ON and is hiring a General labourer - farm to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must cut agricultural crops.
• The candidate must divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• The candidate must grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must pack fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must manually remove all suckers and water sprouts.
• The candidate must sort fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
