Cookstown Greens is situated in Thornton, ON and is hiring a General labourer - farm to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must harvest seedlings.
• The candidate must pack fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must sort fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
