General labourer - farm

T & S Gignac Farms Ltd. in Langton, ON is seeking a self-motivated General labourer - farm. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Seasonal employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
• The candidate must work in dirty environments.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
