Van Wychen Farms is situated in Aylmer, ON and is hiring a General labourer - farm to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate must mix fertilizers.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must manually remove all suckers and water sprouts.
• The candidate must perform seed cutting.
• The candidate must sort fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
