Now hiring: General labourer - farm at Horodynsky Farms Inc. in Churchill, ON. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• The candidate must grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must harvest crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
