Zander Sod Co. Limited in Beeton, ON is seeking a self-motivated General labourer - farm. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must cut agricultural crops.
• The candidate must regulate water saturation, light and temperature as instructed to support crop growth and development.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
