General farm worker - harvesting

PROSPEROUS FARM CO. LTD. is situated in Burnaby, BC and is hiring a General farm worker - harvesting to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must cut agricultural crops.
• The candidate must divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must mix fertilizers.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
