General farm worker - harvesting

Caledon Produce Farms in Burford, ON is inviting applications for the position of General farm worker - harvesting. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
• The candidate must work in dirty environments.
