General construction supervisor

Orchid Homes Ltd. in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of General construction supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions.
• The candidate must requisition materials and supplies.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
