General construction labourer

Now hiring: General construction labourer at PEAK CONCRETE FORMING INC in Kitchener, ON. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
