General construction labourer

Southeast Renos and Handyman Services in Calgary, AB is seeking a self-motivated General construction labourer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work on a construction site.
