Construction labourer

Formco Concrete Foundations LTD in Saint-André-de-Shédiac, NB is inviting applications for the position of Construction labourer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
