Gas station manager

Esso OTR +Food in Thornton, ON is inviting applications for the position of Gas station manager. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct and control daily operations.
• The candidate must manage staff and assign duties to ensure smooth operations.
• The candidate must locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
• The candidate must plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
• The candidate must resolve issues that arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• The candidate must recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be efficient.
• The candidate must be energetic.
• The candidate must be goal-oriented.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a retail business, purchasing goods from manufacturers or wholesalers, and selling these goods to consumers in small quantities.
