Freight traffic manager

Composites Canada ( Mississauga, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Freight traffic manager. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must monitor departmental performance.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
• The candidate must ensure transport compliance with regulations.
• The candidate must negotiate for services and preferential rates.
• The candidate must oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must coordinate the flow of information within the team.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
