G Brar Framing & Construction Ltd. in Langley, BC is inviting applications for the position of Framer-carpenter. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• The candidate must supervise other workers.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
