NU-ERA BUILDING RESTORATION INC. is situated in Etobicoke, ON and is hiring a Framer-carpenter to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• The candidate must fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
