Forklift operator

Ganong Bros., Limited ( St. Stephen, NB) is currently looking for a skilled Forklift operator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must operate various equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• The candidate must ship orders.
• The candidate must pick orders and stock items.
• The candidate must weigh materials and goods.
• The candidate must make labels and attach them to goods.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
• The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
• The candidate must work in manufacturing or production to operate equipment, assemble products, and maintain quality standards.
