Forestry labourer

Arbotech Management Inc. is situated in St. John's, NL and is hiring a Forestry labourer to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist forestry workers.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
