Food service supervisor

Marble Slab Creamery ( Victoria, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Food service supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
• The candidate must estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• The candidate must ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.
• The candidate must prepare food order summaries for chefs.
• The candidate must maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
• The candidate must supervise and check the assembly of trays.
• The candidate must supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
