GRIMACE &CO RESTAURANT LTD in Campbell River, BC is seeking a self-motivated Food service supervisor. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
• The candidate must train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• The candidate must estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• The candidate must hire food service staff.
• The candidate must ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• The candidate must prepare budgets and cost estimates.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.
• The candidate must supervise and check the assembly of trays.
• The candidate must supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.

• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
