Air North, Yukon's Airline is situated in Whitehorse, YT and is hiring a Food counter attendant to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
