Food counter attendant

Gros Morne Gas Bar is situated in St. Pauls, NL and is hiring a Food counter attendant to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.
