Food counter attendant

Bandra Cafe Inc. in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Food counter attendant. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set up tables accordingly.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
