Food counter attendant

Tim Horton's is situated in St. John's, NL and is hiring a Food counter attendant to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
