Food counter attendant

Freshslice Pizza in Edmonton, AB is inviting applications for the position of Food counter attendant. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must handle and store cleaning products.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
