Food counter attendant

A & W ( Cranbrook, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Food counter attendant. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
