Food and beverage server

Desycan.Inc is situated in Whitehorse, YT and is hiring a Food and beverage server to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: , 12:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
• The candidate must advise on menu selections.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• The candidate must serve food and beverages.
• The candidate must take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
