Subway is situated in Halifax, NS and is hiring a Food and beverage server to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
• The candidate must advise on menu selections.
• The candidate must balance cash and record sales.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must serve food and beverages.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
