Fitter-assembler, structural metal

Alco TMI Fabrication in Alma, QC is seeking a self-motivated Fitter-assembler, structural metal. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day, , 07:00 to 15:00 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements.
• The candidate must assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures.
• The candidate must weld or bolt sections together according to specifications.
• The candidate must install fabricated components in final product.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in assembly to construct, assemble, or install components and products according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency.
