Job Description

• The candidate must supervise professional staff, program leaders, instructors, and volunteer staff.
• The candidate must coordinate special events.
• The candidate must provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development, and administration of sports, fitness, and recreation programs and activities.
• The candidate must prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops and symposia.
• The candidate must design and implement health and wellness projects or programs.
• The candidate must plan and carry out recreational, fitness, and sports activities.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a fitness centre to assist clients with exercise programs, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all members.
• The candidate must work in a sports or fitness association to manage programs, assist participants, and support facility operations.
• The candidate should work in a recreational facility/institution; having a recreational area is one of the best ways of managing employees and improving team morale in the workplace.
