Fish processing plant labourer

Phillips Bridge Seafood ULC is situated in Borden-Carleton, PE and is hiring a Fish processing plant labourer to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must transport fish and shellfish to the designated work area.
• The candidate must weigh fish or shellfish, record weights, and pack products in ice for storage or transport.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must sort fish according to species, weight, and destination.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
