Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House ( Vancouver, BC) is currently looking for a skilled First cook. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must organize buffets and banquets.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
