Fire equipment servicer helper

TOTAL FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES LTD. is situated in Whitehorse, YT and is hiring a Fire equipment servicer helper to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must move tools, equipment, and other materials.
• The candidate must signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
• The candidate must help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.

• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
