Café supervisor

Air North, Yukon's Airline ( Whitehorse, YT) is currently looking for a skilled Café supervisor. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
• The candidate must train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• The candidate must estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• The candidate must ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• The candidate must maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be dependable.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
