Job Description

• The candidate must ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
• The candidate must prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.
• The candidate must prepare reports and audit findings.
• The candidate will be responsible for conducting field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• The candidate must review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulations.
• The candidate must analyze financial documents and reports.
• The candidate must examine accounting records.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must exercise due diligence.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in an accounting firm to manage financial records, perform audits, and provide accounting and advisory services.
