Farm supervisor

Dhaliwal Vineyard in Keremeos, BC is seeking a self-motivated Farm supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day. This position has been approved by the LMIA.

Job Description

• The candidate must divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• The candidate must guide growing shoots into optimal development positions.
• The candidate must co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must hire and train staff.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
