Farm supervisor

Veikle Seeds Ltd. in Cut Knife, SK is seeking a self-motivated Farm supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must mix fertilizers.
• The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
• The candidate must co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• The candidate must maintain quality control and production records.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
