Farm operation supervisor

BETHEL BISON RANCH in Fenelon Falls, ON is inviting applications for the position of Farm operation supervisor. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must direct farm feed inventory activities.
• The candidate must direct farm grooming activities.
• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must mark livestock as proof of ownership.
• The candidate must assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
• The candidate must co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
• The candidate must maintain livestock performance records.
• The candidate must maintain quality control and production records.
• The candidate must select livestock for sale.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
