Farm equipment operator

Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available, , 06:00 to 18:00 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must mix fertilizers.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
• The candidate must operate a forklift.
