renaissance medical clinic is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Family physician to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• The candidate must help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits, and reshape their approach to wellness.
• The candidate must consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• The candidate must inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases.
• The candidate must advise patients on health care.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must act as the patient advocate.
• The candidate must coordinate or manage primary patient care.
• The candidate must provide acute care management.
• The candidate must provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a private practice.
