Family physician

Futurity Medical is situated in Toronto, ON and is hiring a Family physician to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: To be determined. This position has been approved by the LMIA.

Job Description

• The candidate must consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• The candidate must prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• The candidate must advise patients on health care.
• The candidate must act as the patient advocate.
• The candidate must coordinate or manage primary patient care.
• The candidate must provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate must work in a private practice.
