South March Medical FHO in Kanata, ON is inviting applications for the position of Family physician. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The LMIA has granted approval for this role.

Job Description

• The candidate must collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• The candidate must examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
• The candidate must help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits, and reshape their approach to wellness.
• The candidate must order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
• The candidate must consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• The candidate must advise patients on health care.
• The candidate must supervise staff.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
